One of those excited to greet Prabowo was Nadine Ardiani Chairunisa, an Indonesian student studying Marketing Communication at Amity University, who had been eagerly waiting since 5 pm. Accompanied by fellow student Demas Fadel Anggara, they described the experience as both thrilling and nerve-wracking due to some delays. Other Indonesians present, such as Rajendra, Marvell, and Adyatama, expressed their gratitude for Prabowo’s personal gesture of shaking hands with them upon arrival. They expressed hopes for a successful working visit in India and a better future under Prabowo’s leadership.

Prabowo’s visit to India not only represents a new era in bilateral relations but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India. Before departing from Jakarta, Prabowo expressed pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, considering it a great honor for Indonesia. He emphasized the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, showcasing the strong bond between the two countries. The visit also includes planned meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss enhancing cooperation on various strategic issues.
