President Prabowo Subianto recently announced that 352 TNI soldiers will join the military parade in New Delhi on January 26, 2025, to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India. The Indonesian government is honored by the invitation from India, allowing Indonesian troops and Akmil cadets to participate in the front row of the parade. The Indonesian contingent will include 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo’s visit to India will also involve meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral cooperation, including potential collaborations in health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Furthermore, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also planned during the visit.
