Semarang – Candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto is convincing the people that the future of Indonesia is brilliant. He reminded the people not to be provoked by parties that are trying to frighten them with the narrative that the future of Indonesia is bleak.
“The future is bright, our future is good. If there are those who try to scare the people, don’t listen too much,” Prabowo said in front of hundreds of thousands of residents at Lapangan Simpang Lima, Semarang City, Central Java, on Sunday (28/1).
He revealed that the manipulation of the narrative of fear about the future of Indonesia may be part of the efforts of foreign parties who always want Indonesia to be poor and constantly exploit the potential wealth of the country.
“Perhaps they are the lackeys of foreign nations who always want Indonesia to be poor. It has always been their effort to exploit our wealth,” he said.
Prabowo emphasized that he, along with the Coalition for a Mighty Indonesia (KIM) and even President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), are not willing to see Indonesia continue to be under the control of foreign parties who want Indonesia to remain weak and not to progress.
“Mr. Jokowi doesn’t want it; Mr. SBY doesn’t want it; Prabowo Subianto doesn’t want it; Gibran Rakabuming Raka doesn’t want it; the Coalition for a Mighty Indonesia doesn’t want Indonesia to continue being sucked dry by other nations. We don’t want it,” Prabowo said, which was greeted by the applause of the residents.
Therefore, he believes that the 2024 election is very important to have a leader who is firm and brave in bringing Indonesia to become a confident country that can stand on its own.
“This year’s election is very important, there are many forces that want Indonesia to split, many forces that want Indonesia to remain weak. They don’t want Indonesia to become a developed country,” he said. (SENOPATI)
